Windows 10 home s mode free

Hello everyone! I have an older tablet – Lark Ultimate 7i Win, that was originally shipped with Windows 8. I did the free upgrade to Windows 10 a few years back, so currently the tablet is running on Windows 10 Home 32 bit with Online Activated license. Can you please tell me if this using Windows 10 Home in S mode is possible with my license?

Also can you please advise on how to create such installation media? Additional details: I managed to install folowing OS version on the tablet: Windows10 in S mode version – from an original Windows 10 S image awailable online – fast, responsive, but I have a few problems with the drivers touchscreen, accelerometer, etc.

What I would like to do now is try to export my drivers from the Windows 10 Home 21H1 installation, and try to create Windows 10 Home 21H1 in S mode installation media, with the exported drivers. The question remains if the license will be recognized.

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Windows editions that come in S Mode are only available from hardware manufacturers and come pre-installed. You cannot install S Mode yourself. What is your current version and build of Windows Type winver in Search and select the top result, post back the version and build.

I suspect it will not support the later versions of Windows 10 21H1 as the minimum specs have changed for later versions. Thank you for the answer, that solves a part of my problem. The question remains if such installation would be possible with my license, and if Windows would recognize the Online Activated license Can you maybe provide some insight regarding that? My current version is the Windows 10 21H1 because I just installed it today.

The OS works, and the drivers work aswell. However, the installation itself is pretty large in size, and there is almost no free space available on the 16 GB drive. Also the performace itself is not as good as it is with S mode.

And you can use the link provided by JaspreetSingh I will edit my original post with a few more details. Yes windows will recognise your linked licence and the same edition that you have a licence for home will be activated. Unfortunately, it does not look like that I just updated my original post, please take a look. Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Home S Mode should use the same licence but usually that would be Home S Mode to Home and once you switch to normal mode then you cannot switch back.

Not sure where you go the image for S Mode install but are you sure it is Windows 10 Home. I don’t think it is available officially. Given 21H1 minimum spec are 32GB for 64Bit internal storage then I would think you will have problems with update going forward. Did you install 32Bit or 64Bit. This was the reason I mentioned that the process is not end user friendly. Have a look at the link I send earlier it contains the steps to create the s mode iso file from your specified iso file. I would also recommend posting the question directly at techcommunity forums at www. This site in other languages x.
