I’ve tried to learn a lot of things including software programs with instructional books, classes, and online. This is absolutely the best book I’ve ever read. It was easy to follow. Takes you through it step-by-step without being too elementary.
The projects are great and there are even exercises as confidence builders to see if you’ve grasped what’s being instructed. I highly recommend it if you are learning Captivate. This book, however, has really helped me learn how to get started with this product. Eventually I want to roll out eLearning to my organization and this book is really helping me get there. The book got here ahead of schedule and was in better condition listed.
Provides links to practice files which is super helpful. Heartily recommend. The Essentials book is a great into to working with Captivate. While other books may explain how functions and features work, this book takes you by the hand to produce etraining. Very good. BTW this is part of a two book series. Get them both.
